  • My paper "Demystifying Downward Causation in Biology" is Forthcoming in the Journal for General Philosophy of Science.

  • My paper "The Scope of Reciprocal Causation" is Forthcoming in Philosophy, Theory, and Practice in Biology.

  • My symposium Race, ethnicity and ancestry in genomics: a philosophical analysis (co-organized with Celso Neto) was accepted at the PSA Conference in New Orleans in November 2024


  • I signed a book chapter contract for the Routledge Handbook of Values and Science (edited by Kevin Elliot and Ted Richards) to write a chapter on Values in Genomics.


  • I am starting a new position as principal investigator of the FRQSC-funded project "Rethinking Our Individual Differences Through Genomics". I will be working as a postdoctoral fellow at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). 


  • I am a co-organizer of the reading group "Philosophy of Science and Values in Genomics" with Celso Neto and Abigail Nieves Delgado. If you are interested in the topic, feel free to e-mail me for more information!


  • I presented my paper (in progress) "The Value-Ladenness of Population Descriptors" at CLMPST 2023 (Buenos Aires, Argentina) as part of the IASCUD Symposium "The Significance of Cultural Diversity in the Biomedical Sciences" 


  • I attended ISHPSSB 2023 in Toronto where I presented my paper "The Scope of Reciprocal Causation".

  • Work in progress with Caleb Hazelwood is featured in the episode "Scientific Metaphysics" of the HPS Podcast. Our paper "The Unbearable Lightness of Intervening: A Realist Metaphysics for Manipulability Theories of Causation" is summarized about half way through the episode.
